For an optimal nutrition of shrimps, not only the nutritional quality but also the versatility of the diet is crucial. Even the best food is not the best possible solution either with permanent or sole use. Variety makes the difference. Even in nature, a fish does not find the same food every day. An optimal diet consists of a varying feeding with different types of high-quality food.
Aquarium Münster is expanding the DR. BASSLEER SHRIMP STICKS with three new varieties:
- ACAI, with berries of the Brazilian Acai palm tree. The acai berry has an exceptionally high nutritional value and is considered a so-called “superfood” for human consumption.
- CHLORELLA, enriched with the valuable chlorella freshwater algae. This is rich in carotenoids (e.g. lutein, astaxanthin), antioxidants (e.g. beta-carotene), essential fatty acids (e.g. omega-3), vitamins and trace elements (iron, selenium, iodine, folic acid, calcium). Chlorophyll and valuable nucleic acids promote the regeneration process.
- GARLIC, with natural garlic is also eaten by shrimps who suffer from loss of appetite. Garlic contains the natural plant active ingredient allicin as well as a very high proportion of manganese, vitamin B6, an extremely large number of trace elements (selenium, iodine, germanium, etc.) and enzymes.
